The lesson from two lemonade stands
Bob, thanks. This was a little pep talk I needed to hear, as I sit in my temporary rented digs up North contemplating how my future might unfold once my temporary contract is over. Everything I do is time consuming and impractical. And I want to be appreciated and fairly compensated for it, dammit.
So let me ask you some questions. I’ve been talking with Peter about my future plans and hopes for starting a business. I feel totally lost in terms of how to, you know, START. He suggested going back to school and getting an MBA (it would mean a little more of a year of my life, but at least the tuition would be free for me). What are your thoughts on this? Would it be at all useful? And would the usefulness outweigh the hard work, which would take me away from my studio practice for 13 months?
