Credit where credit is due (Part 1)
I’m not one for looking back much. I’m far to afraid of missing something really good right now. That said, we recently celebrated Point of Vision’s 10th anniversary. It’s been an amazing 10 years and I can’t believe how much we all change in such a short period of time. It’s funny to think how much we thought we knew back then. Now we realize how much we still have to learn.
This ride would not have happened without the second dearest person to walk into my life – my very good friend and business partner, Bruce. I don’t tell him enough how much he means to me, my family and our collective dream that is Point of Vision. As always, we don’t talk enough. But as he has said to me so many times – sometimes you just know.
And I hope he does.
Our first office was our kitchen in our Loganville home. We outgrew this pretty quickly!

Bruce found us a cozy little place in Midtown, just behind the Carter Center. It was far more than we could afford but our needs were fairly simple. Our desks were made of doors we found in the basement, slung across a couple of $50 filing drawers.

We outgrew that place pretty quickly too but decided that if we added a few walls, we might be able to stick it out a little longer.

Then we moved next door. It wasn’t the furthest move in my life, but it was one of the scariest. Bruce did most of the work and the end result felt like a dream come true.

Eventually, we outgrew that place too. So Bruce found us yet another cozy place just around the corner in Inman Park. We started another company together and bought the place. Again, Bruce did most of the work but we collaborated more and had a lot of fun despite the stress brought on by the timing of the project.
I’ll post some pictures of the new place when I write about the present. For now, one more from the past.
